Office Manager: Akron, OH.

Hi guys,

my company (I'm new there) is looking for someone to manage an office they want to open in Akron, OH. Among the best in the sector, the company produces rolled rings, open die and close die forgings for several industries, from Oil&Gas, to Wind energy and Automotive.

They are looking for someone with these requirements:

Education: possibly Engineering with knowledge in metallurgy

Location: Akron area or availability for a change of residence to Akron.

Experience: 2-3 years at least in a business regarding metal working; better if the candidate has knowledge in the close die forging process (both technical and sales).
An experience in the purchasing or technical department of a potential client in the area of forged products is a plus.

Position: the candidate should be able to start up the office, manage the office himself, delevop the sales for close die forging parts getting in contact with already known and new potential customers, manage the order cycle including the delivery of goods from the Italian plant, manage non-conformity and quality problems only with a telephone contact with the italian quality office;

Skills: Good management skills, good sales attitude; good technical knowledge of the close die forging process and products is a plus.
The Italian language skill could be an advantage for comunication with the italian offices but it is not a must given that the majority of the italian colleagues speaks quite a good english.

Contract: Employee of the Italian parent company or employee of the US controlled company or similar, excluding an agency contract.

Please PM me if you think your resume is conforming to our requirements.

Thanks,
