Before we get too blase though...a friend did have a bottle of rum broken when returning from the Caribbean. This was unfortunate - it only happened at LHR, as the bag hit the carousel, and rum started to pour out. It continued to pour out as he took his bag through nothing-to-declare at customs, pretending nothing was happening, and that trail of rum was absolutely nothing to do with him, he wouldn't possibly have tried to smuggle over his customs limit back into the UK, and out the other side towards Hex He wasn't stopped
