Coach passengers using the firstclass head.

What is it with AS? We hadn't done a transcon on AS for a few years, and I had sort of forgotten how annoying it is to have a constant stream of coach passengers flowing in and out of first using the head. I hate it. This just doesn't happen on UA.

We flew down SEA/MCO where it was really, really bad. There was not a moment's rest from coach passengers traipsing back and forth. Even the first class passengers didn't seem very, well, first class.

The exception was the lady behind us who had a seat for herself and another, purchased, ticket for her three month-old son. (I hope he has a frequent flyer number.) The baby fussed a little bit until she got him settled and then he was perfect for the remainder of the flight.

Our return trip MIA/SEA was much better. Maybe the MCO trip was influenced by the Disney factor. On our return first class was much more peaceful and relaxed--just older couples and business travelers. They kept the curtain closed and only a few coach passengers breached it, probably when the serving cart was blocking the aisle.
