If you mean greeted by name, no. However, about 15 years ago I was flying in Y with my husband and young adult daughter LHR-IAD. We were over Newfoundland, which is always beautiful to see on a clear day, so we were in the aft section of an old 747, looking out the windows. The captain came back and spent a good bit of time with us...we really enjoyed chatting...and he offered to send for us to come to the flight deck to see the view which he said was even more spectacular from there. But it clouded up soon after that, lot of turbulence so we missed out on that one. Another time I was in Y and was invited up...just for a few minutes...really enjoyed it.
