They obviously have no problem buying a ticket, the point of the question is that no one can guarantee the date 14 days in advance. The baby will come when its good and ready, and doesn't care about the formal "due date". I was just looking for a way for them to avoid paying for a full-fare Y ticket, which for SJC - ATL is about $1100-1300 each.
