Another data point:

Was checking into a reward ticket, EWR-(BRU)-BOM, and was told today that taxes would only be INR 5,102/-! ^

So, they are not overcharging on this, but they are overpriced with regard to miles required (47k in Y, 94k in C! ), as compared to UA or KL's FB (according to another FT'er who will be redeeming FB miles for a similar routing to DEL...)
