However, it does seem to be displaying the correct time now. 10:57am PDT for me. Tough to tell, though, as I'm in India this week, and the timezone conversion is hard enough without Daylight Saving Time ending!
Quite right, my watch is currently set for EDT, and it has been one-hour out of sync with the time that shows on my FT screen. Strange that you would see 10:57AM PDT, which is in accord with the official time here now (a little after 2PM EDT). Are you able to look at what you would be seeing on your home or office computer right now, though you are in India?
Does FT somehow manage to show each of local times where we are, or do we peg our home timezone in the beginning and always see that time displayed no matter where we are when logging in?
