So do I need a carseat with an infant occupying a seat or not?
Hope some of you can help with this one.
I'm travelling back to the UK with Mrs EB and EB Jnr in December...since EB Jnr is too large for the cot and (probably) too large for the Britax chair, we're planning on booking a seat for her as well this time. On the return to BOM we'll have an approved carseat with us, so no issue, but not on the outbound to LHR.
Now I'm at the point of booking, it would be good to be sure on my assuption before I potentially waste cash on a useless child seat one way... I have assumed so far that the infant will be have to sit with me or Mrs EB whenever the seatbelt signs are on, but for the remaining portion of the flight she will be able to use the seat with no problems. Is this correct, or will the CC forbid her from sitting there even when the signs are off since we won't have the carseat?
TIA,
EB
