SEA-MSP on a wednesday morning, flight 804. I managed a battlefield upgrade... and I'm only silver. I chatted with a super great agent about my whereabouts on the list and even jokingly said I knew it was a long shot! She treated me like I would imagine a plat would be treated and made a note of my Y class seat on the waitlist she printed out. She told me it looks ok, but for my convenience, just board as normal and there was no need to hang out and wait. If the upgrade cleared, she's find me onboard. Sure enough, a few minutes before departure her counterpart came onboard with several BPs for people whos upgrades cleared. With a huge smile, she welcomed me to FC and I took my seat in 1D.

How about that for SEA? I was shocked and enjoyed my brekky enroute to MSP. I guess I'm lucky... or maybe its my charm? =)
