Is the AMEX Aeroplus Platinum AC Privilege Pass (J class) now more attractive?

With the changes in the AC flight pass (thread: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=749634), are there people who are now more interested in purchasing the Privilege Pass.

However, I guess that if one has a SWU and buys a Y/M/U fare, the 8 one-way segments (in business class) will be cheaper than the 8 business-class Privilege Pass - with the only advantage of this pass product being the J class COS bonus?
