Maybe I was the luckiest man in America, but I found that 99.9 percent of my upgrades cleared as PLT. I can only think of 1 DCA-MIA flight where I was relegated to Y. On the other hand, as GLD, they do clear occasionally, but not nearly as often. And usually on off peak flights like Saturday at 6am or something crazy like that.
