I've read the threads here about Houston. St. Regis gets a lot of votes - but Starwood is 100% non-smoking now. Four Seasons gets a lots of thumbs down for dated decor - but the rates are great. Any other smoking-allowed properties I should be considering? I will be going to Houston for maybe 4 days to visit family from abroad staying with family in the outskirts of the metro area (and to poke around - haven't been to Houston for a long time). I'm not going to stay in the outskirts at the Holiday Inn Express - so location isn't important (although I would like to be near good restaurants and shopping). Robyn
