IME, the issue really isn't window vs. aisle pax, it is window 15 vs. window 16 pax and so on.
Most of the time, I only have sufficient carryon that one of the bins in good enough. I've never had an aisle pax ask me to use the side bins as it would be nigh impossible to get access to it during flight.
If you wake me up climbing over me - you'd darn well better be as attractive as I imagine
