Well done on the 9 nights with Hhonors points!! The only flaw I see is running plans by the colleague, and letting it get you down. Sounds like a great family vacation! FWIW, I would probably go with the Fairmont on Maui. But I would be interested to see what others suggest. Have a wonderful time!
