I just flew from VIE and was a bit surprised to notice few differences in the BE service from before. The menu was similar to what is being discussed in this thread and what I was offered two months ago. But, I was particularly interested in noting the service changes.
All that was noticeably different was that there were no more dedicated FA pairings with pax and that the second service wasn't on a tray rather served plate by plate directly on the table cloth.
For some reason, I thought the salad was going to be prepared from the large salad bowl as in the debut of BE service. Did I miss any of the service changes? I did notice a complete marketing booklet in the galley that laid out the service guidelines for BE, but didnt look at it as I didnt want to "intrude".
Great crew though as usual which made the flight that much more enjoyable!
