An unlocked 8100 would be great, but a locked ATT 8100 would work just as well. She checked out the Curve today and said she could get used to the trackball, but the jog-dial would be fine too. I've talked w/ my IT guy at work and he said that since she won't need the ATT Blackberry email address and corporate email (using Yahoo mail) that her existing SIM would work fine and avoid the need for a Blackberry specific data plan. I need to get her somewhere she can try the Pearl and decide if she likes ShureType.

Refurb 8700c and 7130c can both be had in the $125 range in box w/ new accessories. If I could find an 8100 or preferably an 8300 in box for $150ish that would great too.
