Cabcharge charge a "service fee" of 10%. This is treated the same as a "bank fee" and does not attract GST.
For Example, a $100 taxi fare paid either by Credit/Charge or Cabcharge Card and processed by Cabcharge will attract a $10 fee, making a billable total of $110. Of this $110, $9.09 is GST, $90.91 is the taxi cost and $10 is the Cabcharge Service fee.
Cabcharge charge 10% plus 10% of the 10% as GST giving a total surcharge of 11% since it is a service fee
