I'm waitlisted for a BF mileage upgrade NRT-IAH in February (amazingly the EWR-NRT had one seat open and I was able to immediately clear!). I'm currently a CO Gold elite who's short 700 EQMs for Plat. I have a trip planned for late November which will cross me over to the Plat level.

I am currently on the waitlist but since I'm Gold elite I'm on the Silver/Gold waitlist and not the separate Plat waitlist. Once my status changes to Plat I'm supposed to call to have myself relisted as a Plat. Since the waitlist is prioritized by time added it would be advantageous if I could keep my time as today while moving up to the Plat waitlist.

Any way of making this happen or will I have to pull myself off the waitlist and re-add myself to the waitlist for all segments? I have the domestic feeder segments BOS-EWR and IAH-BOS waitlisted as well.
