Previously, when I have bought an economy ticket and used AY+ points to upgrade, I have always had to retroclaim the AA miles since AA probably only sees booking class R and gives no miles. After the retroclaim, and a phonecall to explain the situation, they have posted the miles according to the original booking class.

Will this change mean that I, in practice, will get 1,5 EQP for a ticket that was originally in N class and has now been upgraded to R? Well, remains to be seen, I had such a flight last Sunday.
