Looking at the Ultimate Guide http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showp...4&postcount=15 it says...

"One very important point - you cannot earn miles or Tier Points, or redeem miles when flying on AA transatlantic except on the (few) flights where BA codeshares with them to/from MAN."

Notwithstanding the need to change 'few' to 'one', I'm interpreting that as a "yes"...

So, although there is the loss of Boston as an option, I could take Mrs MIM to Chicago, without the hassle of using half our weekend navigating Heathrow.

Or....

Get back on an Amex blitz and go two-for-one to JFK and avoid blitzing my miles' stash....

By the way... Having asked the original 'where can I go?' question, I tried www.ba.com as a last resort and found a list (obviously the columns haven't copy 'n' pasted, but below should be read left to right as "To", "From" and "Operated by"

Aberdeen Manchester Flybe
Billund Manchester Sun-Air of Scandinavia
Boston Manchester American Airlines
Brussels Manchester Flybe
Brussels Manchester SN Brussels Airlines
Chicago Manchester American Airlines
Dusseldorf Manchester Flybe
Edinburgh Manchester Flybe
Frankfurt Manchester Flybe
Glasgow Manchester Flybe
Hanover Manchester Flybe
Helsinki Manchester Finnair
Heraklion Manchester GB Airways
Innsbruck Manchester GB Airways
Isle of Man Manchester Flybe
London Gatwick Manchester British Airways
London Heathrow Manchester British Airways
Malta Manchester GB Airways
Marrakech Manchester GB Airways
Milan - Malpensa Manchester Flybe
New York JFK Manchester British Airways
Paphos Manchester GB Airways
Paris Charles de Gaulle Manchester Flybe
Salzburg Manchester GB Airways
Tenerife - Sur Reina Sofia Manchester GB Airways

So am I right in saying that, with the exception of Boston (and the FlyBE ones) I could, subject to value to me, use up my miles on any of these?
