While I do not spend my whole life reading and posting messages within the FlyerTalk community, I find it a very helpful board to extend my skills on being a savvy frequent flyer. I have the United forum bookmarked and rarely venture into the other forums unless something gets my attention.

After reading various posts and forums, I am rather disgusted at the tone and level of personal attacks carried out by a fellow Australian. I had hoped that his having experienced previous run ins with other Flyertalkers that he would have learned to respect other peoples opinions and viewpoints. Sadly this has not happened. Most Aussies are quite friendly!

The loss of PremEx, Droneklax, Catman, Jon Toner and untold others is a terrible loss for this board! Their knowledge and experience will be sorely missed and I truly hope they will reconsider provided Randy Peterson takes formal steps rid this board of any party that violates the terms of this board. I manage an UBB board and know that it is quite possible to detect and remove those that violate the boards terms. Had Randy used moderators in each forum area, this might have not gone this far?

Should the members that are leaving this board wish, I would be happy to provide the UBB script and bandwidth to start a more friendly board that would be free of such attacks.

While I have never dealt with you directly OzStamps, I think you owe this whole community a enormous apology and/or should lead by example by bowing out peacefully.
