there are posters here who, in the OP's shoes, could probably get their last two stays completely comped.

that is my point.

i dont understand at all why the OP seems to feel like they are too demanding, or that anyone is accusing them of being that way.

there are other posters here who, in the OP's shoes, might be referring to both of these properties as "the worst hotels in the history of the world." THAT would be a little over the top IMHO.

IMHO if the OP wants to feel more confident in their expectations, hotel choice, and ability to receive compensation when things go wrong, they simply need to read this forum more.

thanks so much again kagehitokiri, I totally get your point and your feedback is much appreciated. I am rather a newbie to this forum (actually to FT alltogether) and have not had the opportunity to read much on here yet.
The reason I kept reiterating that I did not want to feel like I was demanding too much is because, if you read my other post, I did have more than one person diss on my complaints at the last trip report, stating something to the effect of that I should lower my standards when I am traveling in Florida, for example (the last trip report was about a Palm Beach property those who don't knw) which I totally disagreed with, and suggesting that I was complaining just for compensation.
Actually I am pretty confident about my expectations of a luxury property, I just like to use wording that encourages people to put in their 2 cents and am also open to hearing mixed and varied opinions whether they agree with my complaints or not, have had similar experiences or not, etc etc etc
