My understanding is that this hotel was a RC before the current RC chain was formed. They were affiliated with FS since the early 70's when the hotel was built.
I am not overwhelmed by this hotel but have no major complaints. The view of the lake is great and it is well located. We were there in the late spring and were satisfied with the room although I believe the public areas could use some help.
Anytime I make plans at the last minute it seems that things are never exactly as I might hope for them to be.
