This specifically relates to International travel on JetStar (which did not exist in 2005 and much of 2006 (NZ excepted)).
By
T&C of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program the Qantas Platinum members get
access to Qantas International First lounges when flying on Jetstar. This is not relevant to the OP.
By the
oneworld webs site published "
Lounge Access by Tier Status" page, Lounge access
by status is not available to
oneworld Sapphires and Emeralds when flying JetStar (even if travelling on a QF codeshare flight number).
This is due to Jetstar not being a
oneworld Airline.
