While *G has the highest upgrade priority, we would upgrade our Senators before a UAGS. However we would upgrade a *G before an FTL.
Every time at FRA that I am on board I see FTL's get op-ups - even a EBG (SK*G) got an upgrade for himself and a friend for free (no status), while I had to use an SWU! (with UA FF#)
Interesting behavior, but I guess this happens on any airline, unlike Jet Airways (9w) and SQ, where *almost* all of the time it is based on status, period.
