The odd thing about this as I looked for one a while back (for use at someone's desk in the office) is that the cheapest way to get an ADF scanner is to buy a multifunction printer/scanner/copier box. You can go as low as $100 range for an inkjet unit or around $200 for a laser. The Xerox unit might be a little faster, not sure, but it's $300 and only scans. This is what I kept running into, scanner-only units with ADF were into that $300 range and higher. I would consider getting something like this Canon laser all in one
http://www.amazon.com/Canon-imageCLA...2983509&sr=8-1 Sells for $239 there but I saw it for $189 on Costco.com if you happen to be a member.
I can't speak to having actually used it. Just something I was considering. A coworker just bought the non-ADF version of this box, which I am also very likely to buy at home, and it works well. I would probably not recommend the Brother inkjet we bought at work just for its simple scanning capability. It's a bit too finicky. We got what we paid for.
