I am going to be booking my first award ticket in the coming months and have some questions on stopovers. I will be redeeming a C class Saver award with ANA to travel between MSP and NRT. I would like to have a stopover in China or another Asian city on the way there. Is this possible?

I imagine the routing would be something like this:
MSP-ORD (UA)
ORD-NRT (ANA)
NRT-(China) (ANA)
About 3 days in China
(China)-NRT (ANA)
About 10 days in Japan
NRT-ORD (ANA)
ORD-MSP (UA)

Is this an eligible itinerary for a 90k mile C class award? I understand I get one stopover, if China does not qualify as a stopover, could I stopover in a place like Vancouver?
