As a low-tech person, I chose Photobucket to host the photos I publicly post here on FT. It's very easy.
  • Click the "my album" tab.
  • Upload your photo(s).
  • Once upload is complete, scroll down and click on the individual image.
  • Located in the upper left corner of your image, click the drop down menu "Edit Image". Choose "resize".
  • After photo loads, click "Preset Sizes" ==> "Large" or "15" Screen" ==> "Apply" ==> "Save" ==> "Overwrite existing..." or "Save new copy".
  • Scroll down for the list of codes. A single left mouse click on "IMG Code" automatically copies.
  • Paste the code into the body of your thread reply and you're done!
