Good point.
And though the OBC seats are easier to get in and out of, these do make for a nice rest across either pond. But I certainly do think they could have used a design that made for easier access and egress.
IMO, many FAs hate them because 1) they are new, 2) they sometimes do not function properly and the FAs don't know the ins and outs of them yet, and 3) they impede service carts, etc. due to making for a narrower aisle.
