On the Big Island, the Hilton Waikola Village is great for kids. Mine have been there twice the last two years, and have loved it. There are several pools, plus a waterslide.
Actually, there is a small, less intimidating waterslide, as well as a big one with adults and kids racing each other to get to the top of! Screams of delight from everyone! There are also waterfalls into the pool which kids love to be pelted by.
