Maybe the food is very slightly lesser quality than SQ, but only marginal and in any event comfort levels on Thai are infinitely superior. Cheaper as well. The J seats you get on the 777 to MEL are the regional J seats. Also, on all SQ spacebed equipped 777, AVOD is installed. So you will 100% get AVOD on CPH-SIN. TG sure sounds good, but on the TG board, there has been quite a number of complains about sub standard food and service. TG seats are good for MEL,MXP,JNB,DME,ZRH,AKL. For MUC,CDG,FRA,LHR you risk getting the B7442 configuration, which has seats comparable to SQ regional 777 J seats.

Now that SAA has joined *A and with change in the PPS program, this year I booked SAA for my travel to SA.
One booking SIN-SA on SQ this year thus far. In previous years I would average 4 a year.
Just curious? SA does not fly to SIN. You connect in HKG?
