HWV def. for the Big Island. Avoid Oahu if can and go to Maui and the Grand Wailea for another great kid-friendly resort.

If you have to do Oahu, though, the Hilton Haw'n Village is probably the best bet, with the natural wildlife on property, the newly re-opened lagoon, and the widest beach in all of Waikiki.
