Exactly. Was a very smart move by Airbus at the time who got two different aircraft for not too much more than the cost of developing one.
Don't think for one minute that the whole A330/340 program has not been a huge financial success for Airbus.
When was the 340 NEW or delivered, and when was the 777 Delivered? I didnt realize they were developed at such different times.
LH just bought some 747-800 ... I gather they are buying them CHEAP.... It looks like BA won't be buying any 747-800's..... and I dont think any Ameican airlines are in the market for planes... so Boeing going to have a long wait to sell 747.
IS EK nuts??? how can they buy so many 345's????? At some point is this airline going to have to compete with someone with these gas pigs?.... Or did Airbus give them the plane?
