The business class seat you had on SIN-BKK was most likely to be the regional business class seats. On SQ351, you will be on a 9v-SV__ series plane which has lie flat business class seats, also known as the space beds. The newest business class seats which are 34" wide are only found on the B777-300ER, and the A380, apparently 30".
