The bmi website is hopeless at the moment.
Using Expedia you can get premium economy seats for £628 .42 return including taxes from MAN to ORD in January and February, i.e. the pricing is along the lines of what BA charge, perhaps slightly cheaper.
You can expect to see routes from LHR to the US at some point (they only go to Saudi right now if I recall correctly using premium economy-equipped planes).
