Almost makes up for having to ride a CRJ....

I have flown on CRJs frequently (CVG-MEM-CVG), and this has been my experience. Laptops are allowed on the plane as a personal item, and roll-a-boards are usually gate-checked. Gate-checking is efficient, no lost luggage, and means that I do not have to fool with the bag on the plane. I think that it is a good CRJ feature.
