I'm going to be flying through on New Year's (1/1, which usually implies a bunch of drunken, hung-over people getting to the airport late, etc.) For my connection in CDG, I have less than 90 minutes, and I'm guessing that TXL-CDG will land in 2D, and CDG-LAX I think is 2E. 2D to 2E is a reasonably fast affair if you walk. Last time I had to do it (with a flight out of the new S3), I seem to recall there was a direct bus connection from 2D to S3 that got me there within a few minutes. Immigration and security were quick thanks to access n°1.
