Don't think I'll have time for the lounge and as I no longer have status, I don't have access either! I may consider buying access on the return flight as I'll be driving in from Palm Springs and may end up with too much time to spare (wanting to avoid the afternoon rush hour in LA). Is it worth $75 for the two of us? The main reason to use the lounge wounld be to have a shower before the flight and T4 doesn't have any rival lounges and LAX doesn't have any public showers.

Not to worried about the lack of alcohol for sale at the AE terminal. After a my last VIP trip in Biz to Miami where a very efficient purser kept my G&T well topped up during the flight I have not drunk while flying since!
