Even if/when they send you an email telling you that they will count the bonus points towards status, you won't see it happen via the online interface. Only your regular points earned for riding will show up on the website.

AGR goes through things after the promo is over to see if you qualified for status by using bonus points. And they don't always get it right either, so you may have to call them up to get them to fix it, and make sure that you save the email telling you about the fact that they will count the bonus points.

Those emails usually go out right at the end of October or early November and typically run from mid-November until the end of the Double points promo.
