I want to book an award ticket and a companion award for my friend's old father ...We will fly OSL-FRA-KUL on 18th of March and return KUL-FRA-OSL on 31st of March 2008. We will fly in Economy ( no available seats in business). I will bring my friend's father to KUL as his son is working there.
My questions are:
1) I just turned senator (has not received the card yet and thus, no hotline number as well) and wonder if there is a way to get good seats, seat blockings and so on? Is my friend's father too old for us to have seats in exit rows? If yes, which seats are then consider to be good seats?
2) How do i proceed to get those premium seats (if entitled to), seat-blockings and so on? Can i book online and call someone afterwards to change seats? Or i have to call before i book (and thus lose to online-discount)

My friend's father has no status.
