Curly weighs more than flat leaf, by volume, due to the more dense leaves. However in a supermarket, a pack of curly usually weighs the same as a pack of flat leaf.

I grow parsley as a hobby, it's fascinating. It doesn't grow well in close proximity to rosemary.
