Best advice from previous trips is if you are driving, upgrade your rental to a 4*4. Trying to negotiate the roads west of the Eisenhower (sp?) tunnel in a snowstorm at night in an economy rental was the scariest night of my life

PS - how busy / 'gold-heavy' are these DEN flights? There will be a serious row if the missus and I are split up in Club despite shelling out over £4k for seats
