Who cares about ambassadors. Are you a donkey and need to be herded to the taxi line when you arrive? Super Elites on AC have conceirges that will do anything from arrange dinner reservations, order flowers for the wife and get you from one end of an airport to the other in record time.

Overall the US flight experience is miles behind what is offered on AC. USAIR is by far next to being one of the worst. I fly them only if I have to. The GA's, FA's are all poorly trained and have no idea what the Star Alliance is. Rather embarassing considering management is trying to market this airline as a global leader.
