You might try this.

Take every scrap of paper they send you, fold it up and stuff it into the prepaid envelope they sent you with the application, write REMOVE FROM MAILING LIST and mail it all back to them.

They get to pay a very high premium on the business reply mail, maybe they'll get the hint.
