I have found that US and UA domestic F service both have their advantages and disadvantages. UA has more comfortable seats than US in terms of cushioning, softness, etc. but not necessarily by leg room. While UA has better food service on meal flights as well as it offers meals on more flights than US, US offers better food service on shorter flights. Youre lucky to even get a bag of snack mix in UA F on shorter flights where as in US F you get the snack basket. Plus while US F may not be the best, its by no means the worst, and at least as a CP I get unlimited free upgrades without having to use some sort of upgrade instrument. Thats something that can't be said for UA.
