The language is indeed confusing though. I just assumed what Schmutzig mentioned...elites never have to pay the initiation fee, but perhaps that isn't the case??
Yeah, I'm not sure, I never really paid attention. Only had a lapsed membership once, that was 10 months. I think I was charge the fee, but can't remember. I was GE at the time I renewed. I'd have to go back and look at my CC statement.
