Well, whether $25 is "worth it" to you would require disclosure of your income, expenses, and personal preferences. I've never been to the LAX CRC, but like all CRCs, there will be free drinks and light snacks, chairs that are more comfortable than at the gate, and typically a more relaxing atmosphere than at the gate; oh, and less-crowded bathrooms too. If having those things for your few hours in LAX sounds like it's worth $25 to you, then go for it!
