Many are the evenings I've been drinking at that superb Belgium beer bar there.
Last year or so we had a FT gathering there and a group of FT'ers got stuck into the dozens of exotic Belgium beers.
One
Kokonutz was among them. We were drinking something called
Vampires' Blood as I recall. About 10% alcohol, or near the same as wine.
Sadly for American wimps raised on 1 or 2% or whatever Budweiser, Coors and other local fizzy sodas,
that kind of stuff sneaks up pretty fast.
Koko caught the shuttle to airport for his red eye to IAD, then fell asleep at the gate, and slept at the airport all night on a bench AFAIK until the next morning's flights rolled out.
Beware the Belgium Beer Bar a the Four Points LAX .. all ye who enter there. 
Oz ain't kidding. I was drinking that Dracula as though it were Fullers or Boddington, you know, about one a half-hour. But the stuff's got a kick like Jack Daniels.
Matt: Ummmmm....has the redeye to Dulles left already?
GA: Over a half-hour ago...are you Mr. Wald?
Matt: Yes.
GA: We paged you five or six times!
Matt: I was right THERE [pointing to chair 10 feet from gate] ummmm...sleeping...
GA: I can rebook you on the 6:05am flight, sir...
