I agree with most of the sentiments on here. I have never had an experience in UA's first class that was worse than US. In fact, UA is normally head and shoulders above US on almost every count.

Slightly off - topic, but I do agree with the sentiments of this being very crew driven. Last week, I had to fly AA from STL to LGA. While the Super 80was old and as mentioned by another poster, not-so-super, the service was unbelievable. The flight attendant was in the cabin the whole time - drinks were not even empty and were being refilled and a full meal was served. She was friendly and looked professional. It was that last flight out and was late but she still smiled and was attentive in a way that I have NEVER experienced on US.
