The rest of F seating on a UA 757 is WAY better in my experience than any US configuration. Miles ahead. I have several E+ seats on UA that I would prefer to US F.

Your list of 'Cons' are nearly completely linked to routing or aircraft type:

This isn't supposed to happen, sorry it happened to you. Comparing same flight times and lengths UA is much more likely to serve meals than US.

UA bulkheads are bad, I haven't compared them to US bulkheads as I don't like bulkhead seats in general. But unless you really need a bulkhead, this is not the majority of F seats.

This is also comparing UA's worst mainline F aircraft with US, on UA you can often find a domestic 757, 767, 777, as part of your routing, which is much preferable to the Airbus.

So yes, take UA's worst and compare it to US, it might be 'comparable' or just slightly better. This doesn't show US in a very good light.

What is the Economy to F ratio of UA's A319 to any of US's reconfigured planes?

I was just evaluating what's available for me to fly on - 95% of what UA has in BOS is 757 or A319/320.

UA's 319's have 8 F seats, 112 Y; HP is 12 F 112 Y; US is 12F 114 Y - so the ratio on 319's is better on US.

I admit, I have had 4 UA F experiences lately, many coach experiences on UA and countless of both on US. The UA F experiences have been nice, but nothing special. Maybe I'm missing something or it's just the routes or equipment I've been on. The doemestic widebody UA service I've had in coach has been nothing special - and I've had to pay extra if I want E+ at this point. To me it seems like the quality of the crew has more to do with the experience than anything else. Maybe I'm nuts

Finally, I do like bulkheads - no seat reclining in my face and I like to put my feet up - US makes that easy and has a fair bit of legroom in the bulkhead. UA doesn't. The 757 bulkhead is a joke in F - I moved to another row. It was a nice seat, but nothing better than HPs busses in F (note I said HP, not US.)

P.S. I fly up front on AA sometimes too - and their Super 80's ain't so super
